The course should give the students a general introduction to biotechnological processes which are important in environmental applications. This field includes production of bioenergy (biogas, biohydrogen, bioethanol), chemicals for environmental purposes and biotechnological methods for removing xenobiotic compounds. Perspectives for application of environmental biotechnological processes will be discussed both at national and global level. |
